Hi Fellow Morris Enthusiasts,  

Here’s a quick update of events still to come for the remainder of 2008… 
 

It’s the Lord Mayor’s Show in London on 8^th November 2008, this is a very popular event and as such it is a requirement that those wishing to attend next year, must apply in writing to Mrs Rosie Hamilton at the MMOC for places, as there is already a waiting list. 

The Classic Car Show is once again being hosted at the NEC in Birmingham from 14^th to 16^th November 2008.  Arthur Henderson has arranged a mini bus for the event. I am not sure if there are places still available in the bus, so if you would like to take up this offer please contact Arthur and let him know.  There will, of course, be a fee for the mini bus to be paid ahead of the event.  Last minute cancellations will result in the fees not being refunded. 

Our December Social meeting on 4^th December is as always, our opportunity to share the Christmas spirit amongst fellow members.  There is always an amazing spread put on by our very own resident chef, Kath Bertram.  There’s fun for all the family, gifts for the littlest ones and games too, even games for the big ones.  So bring along mom, dad, the kids, granddad, grandma and anyone else who would like to join us for the festivities.  We’ll even have sessions of Play your Cards Right, an absolute treat and lots of laughs. 

It has been customary for us to arrange a Get-together for a meal somewhere nice after Christmas, something to look forward to when all the Christmas activity subsides.  We have arranged for us to get together on Saturday 17^th January at The Old Mill Coxhoe for 7.30pm, it’s a really lovely place and the food is excellent.  We have the menu available and places are filling up fast, please let Tracey Cramond know if you would like to join us on 07970035131 or tracey.cramond@hotmail.co.uk  Click for more info
