CHRISTMAS PARTY 2009
The Christmas party proved to be a popular event this year and was well attended by club members with friends and family.
Kath Henderson, our Social Secretary, provided an excellent buffet and the function room looked dressed for the occasion.
Club Chairman, Tracey Grant, presented the cheque to a representative of the Great North Air Ambulance, our nominated charity for 2009. Thanks go to everyone who helped with the fund raising.
Tracey also presented the Club's "Leading Light" award to Kath Henderson. Kath was nominated for this award by club members for all her hard work during the year.
Fun and games on the evening were plentiful. The pinata proved to be as strong as a tank and took some hard work to demolish and the bottle of whisky game helped to swell club funds.
Post Christmas celebrations continue at The Church Mouse in January.
